AI test generator for formal papers, with the mark scheme
A summative paper is never written from a topic name alone. You give the class, the topic, what was taught and optionally a past paper to copy the format. TeachBuddy AI returns the student paper, the mark scheme, a marking guide and an accessible version.
Calibrated to the standard your school uses
Pick the curriculum standard once per class: Cambridge, IB, the UK National Curriculum, US Common Core, Pearson Edexcel, the Australian Curriculum, or a board you name. The paper follows the marks, time and question types that standard expects.
Upload a past paper and its marks, time and question types are read into a "From your paper" card. The format is copied, the questions never are. Without a past paper, choose the question mix (mixed, objective, short and structured answers, essay) and the total marks, and the app builds the question plan.
- Student paper and mark scheme generated together.
- Marking guide as an analytic or holistic rubric, generated on demand.
- Accessible version for learners who need it.
- Each part regenerates alone, earlier versions are kept, and each part downloads as PDF or Word.
How it works
- Pick the class and name the topic.
- Add what was taught: library resources or uploaded files such as a chapter, notes, syllabus or lesson plan.
- Upload a past paper to copy its format, or choose the question mix and total marks.
- Generate the paper and the mark scheme, then the marking guide and accessible version from their tabs.
- Download each part as PDF or Word.
Questions teachers ask
Which exam boards and standards are supported?
Cambridge, IB, the UK National Curriculum, US Common Core, Pearson Edexcel, the Australian Curriculum, and any board you name. The choice is remembered per class.
Does it reuse questions from the past paper I upload?
No. The past paper sets the marks, time and question types. New questions are written from what was taught.
Is there a mark scheme?
Yes, generated with the paper, plus an optional marking guide in rubric form.
How many papers can I create for free?
The free plan includes a small number of summative papers each month. Paid plans raise the limit.
