An AI teaching assistant that knows your classes, your books and how you plan

Buddy is a chat, but one that can act. It reads your classroom profiles, your library and your results, creates lesson plans, decks, quizzes, surveys, spaces and images from the conversation, and remembers your planning rules, standing facts and calendar.

What Buddy can do today

  • Plan: write a lesson plan in the chat and save it word for word, in your own format, with your planning rules applied.
  • Create: a slide deck from a plan, a quiz from a plan or a file, a survey from a topic, a space with activities, a classroom profile, an image. Each creation shows a summary and asks before saving.
  • Read: quiz results, survey responses, space submissions, class voice answers, learner notes and reports, library resources, and your earlier chats.
  • Remember: your lesson plan format, global planning rules, standing facts about how you work, and a calendar of no-school days, so you never repeat yourself.
  • Talk: voice notes and live voice in the chat, with files attached when you need them.

Why this matters

A general chatbot forgets your class the moment the tab closes. Buddy starts every chat with your context and ends it with something saved in the right place: a plan on the lessons page, a quiz on the assessments page, a space the students can join.

How it works

  1. Open the chat and say what you need, in any words.
  2. Buddy reads your classes, library and results as needed and drafts the result.
  3. Confirm the summary; Buddy saves it where it belongs.
  4. Ask follow-up questions about results, or hand the work to an automation that runs on a schedule.

Questions teachers ask

Is Buddy free?

Yes. The chat is part of the free plan within monthly limits. Voice features and automations are on paid plans.

Can Buddy use my uploaded documents?

Yes. Attach a file to the chat or ask Buddy to read a resource from your library, including scanned books page by page.

Can I connect Buddy to Claude or another MCP client?

Yes. TeachBuddy AI exposes its capabilities as MCP tools (the open Model Context Protocol), so a teacher can read quizzes, spaces and lessons from a compatible assistant.
